Saturday evening was the concert it was to start at 7pm so we decided to get there at 5pm they had tents with entertainment, food and drinks set up for those early concert goers. When we arrived early we were surprised how organized and smoothly things were run. We decided to grab a quick slice of pizza and a drink before heading inside, thinking we were going to have a chance to grab something else once inside. Once we arrived at the gates we were ushered inside to the standing room where our tickets were for and we tried to make our way close to the stage as possible. With in a half our it started getting packed, the stage was really different looking I learned later that it was suppose to be U2 "spaceship"
I was getting tired while waiting for the band to come out; we have been walking around for the last 2 days and we were standing for about 2 hrs before the concert started.
The concert was amazing! The opening act was a band called Interpol I have never heard of them before they were ok most of their songs sounded the same. Right before U2 came out they flashed facts on the screen which I thought were pretty interesting.
U2 came back on for 2 encores the concert ended at 11:30pm John and I were exhausted we headed back to our hotel and crashed.
