Poutines

Saturday was the day of the U2 concert John and I ended up sleeping in and missing breakfast so we decided that we would just eat lunch. Along with the smoked meat another thing that seemed to be everywhere was poutines. I wasn't sure what they were at first but then walking around on Friday we noticed signs everywhere for these which appeared to be french fries covered in gravy, which to me sounded amazing! Looking for a lunch spot we settled on a sports bar close to our hotel, which served these poutines. Looking at the menu I noticed they had a section for poutines and and as a side order they had fries and gravy. I wasn't sure the difference so I asked our waitress she said poutines had cheese on top and the fries did not I was SOLD!

Of course John and I ordered a side of regular poutines I also ordered a cheeseburger and John had a greek pita. The cheeseburger was over cooked and not very good but edible, the poutines however were really good!
