Flate tire & Rudy's

John and I spend the day at the outlets this afternoon trying to find a birthday present for his mom and doing a little winter clothes shopping. On the way home we were driving along and all of a sudden we hit a huge pot hole and then John's tire went flat. This is one of those moments where as a good girlfriend you I sat back and kept my mouth shut letting him curse and vent up a storm. Because no matter what reassuring things I could have said at the moment wouldn't help the fact. Let me explain why:

Now normally one would just pull off the side of the road and change the flat then buy a new tire costing anywhere from $60-100. But John has these fancy run flat tires, which allows you to drive on them while there flat which is nice but you can imagine the cost! Needless to say John was not happy, especially since it is a fairly brand new car (7 months to be exact) and he wasn't planning on replacing the tires for a long time.

So once we made it home and the initial agitation wore off John decided he needed some Mexican comfort food and a margarita. So we headed to Rudy's for dinner with Cart and to get John that margarita! Every time I go to Rudy's I think today will be the day I order something new! Well today wasn't the day I ordered something new I got my usual, burrito with black beans and rice. This time however I was disappointed with my meal, the burrito was all black beans an no rice. :(

After dinner we headed to the local Joshua Tree to watch the Michigan State game (Cart is a huge fan) there I had my first pumpkin beer of the season. I love pumpkin beer especially when it comes with the delightful sugar rim Mmmmm.
