Picture fail

Friday I have nothing exciting to report, it was the last day of the conference which went until 12 and then the rest of the day was spend sitting in the airport literally. After the conference I sat in the Visby airport until my flight left at 6:10pm to Stockholm. What made it worse was that I was meeting John in Stockholm so it felt like forever!!!

When I got to Stockholm we made our way to the hotel and then grabbed a bite to eat. When we got back to the hotel I logged on to my computer to check my work email and show John my pictures from the last few days. And iphoto failed...

Yup all my pictures gone, I'm pissed. iPhoto doesn't even work so I can't upload new pictures. Ahhhh

To top it off Saturday we accidentally slept in until 12pm and then looked outside and it was pouring cats and dogs! I did not come prepared for this at all. Stockholm is one of those cities that is best to walk through because of all the old buildings and architecture. We ended up spending most of the day in the ship museum just to avoid the monsoon outside.  I felt really bad because I have already been to Stockholm but this was John's 1st time so I was sad he didn't get to experience it. I guess it could have been worse it was the Stockholm marathon and all those poor people were running through this horrible weather.

For dinner we hit up a high endish pub called Oliver twist which had great food and a huge veritey of beer John was in heaven. (pictures to come later when iPhoto has been restored)

I am now soaking my sorrows and rain soaked self in a glass of wine at the hotel. Hopefully the rest of the trip will be better weather.
