As I mention before this week (Monday-Friday) I am in Visby for a
conference for work. Visby is on the island of Gotland off the coast of Sweden.

I arrived late Monday evening and on Tuesday we had a set schedule of
talks and events we have to attend. Tuesday was pretty much jammed pack
with talks until 5pm then we had a dinner schedule for 7pm. I can
say one thing for sure though they are feeding us really well here! And we don't
get a choice so I have been eating foods I normally don't eat. Tuesday
for lunch they served us flounder with roasted potatoes and soybeans.
For dinner we were served a 3 course meal, starting with cured salmon.
For the entree we had lamb with a potato cake and beans.
and dessert was a saffron cake (as in saffron rice).
Wednesday was another long day of talks as most conference are but today we had
no dinner planned so I actually had a chance to walk around the walled
city.
