Tu Y Yo

You might be asking what kind of post name is that? Because I would, it is actually a name of a Mexican restaurant that is right near our apt, instead of the Americanized versions of Mexican this is real Mexican cuisine.
John had a g.c. that he purchased a while back so planned a date night with Jess and Trevor since they organized so 2 great meals previously. Hungry Mother and Coppa

To start our meal we ordered a round of appetizers sopes 1 beef and 2 Mexican sausage and fried jalapenos.

For my meal I decided on the Carmarón Macario (which I have no idea how to pronounce) but here's the ingredients sauteed shrimp with peppers and garlic featuring a sauce made with morron and poblano chiles, walnuts, cilantro and parsley topped with parmesan cheese.

All the food was good but really different from the Americanized version of Mexican food I am use to.The black beans I don't know what they did to them but Oh my God where they good!!! I would go back and just order a big bowl of the black beans.
