Hiking & Moat Mountain Brewery

Monday morning we were up bright and early and headed down to the dining area for breakfast. I ordered the blueberry pancakes, which I have been dreaming about since I saw the breakfast menu the night before.

I love breakfast food,  there is no better way to start the morning then with a warm yummy food to fill up your tummy. I had a furry breakfast companion, who tried to lure me into giving her some food with those puppy eyes. Finally she gave up and laid down next to me, this is the other BMD Felony. She is a lot smaller then Crawford.

After breakfast we headed up to our rooms to change for a cold, windy, snowy morning of hiking. We decided on the Arethusa trail that led to a waterfall at the end.

We were the first ones on the trail so we had fresh snow to make tracks in.

We finally made it to the end and were rewarded with a beautiful waterfall.

By the time we made it back to the Inn it was lunch time so we showered and headed out towards the town of  North Connolly for some lunch. We decided on the Moat Mountain Brewery.

For lunch John started off with a beer sampler and we split and order of fried mac & cheese balls (yummy) and sliders, which were half pulled pork and half sirloin burger.

With lunch out of the way we continued on our way for some outlet shopping and to kill some time for dinner at the White Mountain Cider Company.
