Wine Fest recap

Before the wine tasting event started we all decided to meet up for some food before hand at the Salty Pig. It was a tough decision but I decided to go with the breakfast brunch 2 eggs, toast, home fries and bacon. It was just ok not the best breakfast I've had.

Timmy looking enthused as John took pictures of everyone

Afterwards we had 8 minutes to spare to walk down the street to the Cyclorama. When we arrived the line was forever long and we ended up waiting 30 mins just to get in!

The wine fest/tasting was a bit disappointing I thought it would be more of an event then what they had set up. Walking in you were handed a guide with all the wineries that were there. They had a section for New England wines which were mostly fruity wines. Then they had wines from across Europe and South America.

We decided to start with the well known wines and work our way around the room.

I noticed as we were making our way across the room that one of my favorite cheese vendors was here! Of course I had to try all of them but my favorite still remains the Bergenost. One of the reasons why it's my favorite is not only because it taste fantastic but because the first time I tasted it I was with my best friend Sarah on our wine tour.

After the wine tasting we decided to eat and drink our way through Boston until we all were beat and stuffed.
