1 Month Anniversary celebrated with Turkey Teriyaki

I have officially now been blogging for a month! Granite I am still getting use to remembering to take photos of my dinners and getting over people looking at me weirdly while out to eat. But I am so glad that I am doing this that after a year I will have something to look back have have memories and hopefully some great dishes I made to be proud of. :) Moving forward I am going to try and take more pictures of the cooking process and more pictures in general.

Sentimental stuff aside to dinner tonight's dinner I made the stir fry I was going to make last night. For John's birthday his sister Leah gave him a wok, rice cooker and a stir fry cookbook, tonight I put all 3 to use and and choose a turkey teriyaki recipe.

Since getting the rice cooker it has been one of the best kitchen tools I have. It cooks rice perfectly with no work and only takes 20 mins. I decided to make a side of jasmine rice besides what is stir fry with out rice.

The stir fry was easy to cook I chopped the scallion and peppers ahead of time, so all I had to do was throw them in the wok. It turned out good but it could have used a little more flavor, I think I could have marinated the turkey a little longer.
