Coppa

Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl
With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there
She would merengue and do the cha-cha
And while she tried to be a star, Tony always tended bar
Across a crowded floor, they worked from 8 till 4
They were young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?

At the Copa (CO!), Copacabana (Copacabana)
The hottest spot north of Havana (here)
At the Copa (CO!), Copacabana
Music and passion were always the fashion
At the Copa....they fell in love

Unfortunately we did not go to this Coppa but a Italian tapas place in the South End.

source
It's a cute little eatery with pigs on the wall (rightfully so since they serve a lot of Italian style meats).

We had a dinner date with Jess and Trevor. About a month ago we had a dinner date with them at at Hungry Mother.  As I mentioned before Jess had found a list of all the best places to eat in Boston so we are making our way through them, one dinner date at a time!
Since its was a tapas place we ordered a bunch of plates to share.
Up first Bruschetta di Girasole/Crostini with roasted sunchokes, tasso ham butter, anchovies and garlic.

Next came the assortment of 3 cheeses a blue, goat and cow I believe. They also came with these delightful chocolate covered berries? I ? that because I am  not sure what was inside the chocolate but they were good, really good.

Meatballs al Forno/Wood roasted meatballs with lardo and tomato gravy

Burrata/LocalBurrata with pesto and tomato honey- amazing cheese and honey, yes please!

Cavatelli di pollo/House made pasta with chicken sausage and slow cooked broccoli- really good but dense to eat

Sicilian Fisherman's Pizza/Fried calamari, cherry peppers, tomato and parmesan- great flavor combo but a little to much calamari on top, but not that that's a bad thing

Bistecca Arrosto/Flank steak with cippolini agrodolce and brown butter- this was actually my least favorite it had a little bit of a weird taste to it

Over all the meal was great, I would definitely come back again. Sharing little plates I think is the way to go that way you can taste lots of different things and don't get over stuffed.
