Bocelli's

Friday was a low key day when dinner rolled around John said he was in the mood for Italian! (you can only imagine my reaction, pasta sign me up!!) We didn't fell like making much of an effort travel far so we decided on a local Italian eatery.

Now we have been to this place once before and the food was fantastic! It is a hole in the wall where I believe all the local Italians gather. Walking up the the restaurant there are big Italian men sitting in lawn chairs smoking and talking loudly. Inside it is kind of run down and the decor isn't the greatest and is also full of loud talking Italian families eating dinner.

When you sit down they start you with bread and olives which are amazing!! I did really well and only had 1/2 of piece of bread while John well lets just say he was a bread eating winner.

For my entree I ordered the pumpkin ravioli with hazelnut sauce. It was soo good, I love pumpkin and butternut squash ravioli but John doesn't so I only get to eat it a)when he is not home for dinner or b)I order it when where out.

Another great thing I really enjoy about the restaurant besides the food is he wait staff is really nice and they don't rush you to eat. When we were done eating we sat at the table finishing our glass of wine for an additional 20 mins or so. I feel like in other restaurants they would rush you out the door.
I think this place will become our go to local restaurant.
