Leah's birthday dinner

Happy Birthday Leah!! Today is John's sister's birthday she turns 25 (she can rent a car now yay!!). We planned on going to a Smuttynose tasting dinner. John and I drove up after work to pick up Leah and meet their mom and uncle Bill at Hermanos a Mexican restaurant in Concord, NH. John and his family use to eat here when he was growing up and he has taken me a few times the food is always really good so we were all excited.
Sitting down to dinner we were greeted with free cups, coaster and bumper sticker. 

1st course:

Fire Roasted Tomato Soup -Green chilies, Old Brown Dog   Ale, and crispy sweet potato sticks. 

Paired with Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale

2nd course:

Chipotle Pork Tostada - Fresh mozzarella, Bosc pear, baby spinach, avocado dressing. 

Paired with Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale.

3rd course:

Marinated Jumbo Shrimp Skewers - Dirty rice and roasted green beans.

Paired with Smuttynose IPA.

4th course:
Mexican Pumpkin Cake - A customer favorite, with cream cheese frosting.

Paired with Smuttynose Robust Porter.

After dinner we headed to John's grandma's house to say hello for a little bit then headed home around 9:30 since we had work the next day. I was so glad we got to spend time with Leah on her birthday, I couldn't ask for a better hopefully soon to be sister in-law! ;) Happy Birthday Leah!!!!
