A childhood favorite corn beef & cabbage

Tonight my mom decided on making one of my favorite childhood meals corn beef and cabbage, I am not sure why this was one of my favorite meals I would of course eat the cabbage just the corn beef part and I could finish off a half of one by myself! Mmmm. Now that my taste have changed I enjoy eating the cabbage along with it. For sides we had mash potatoes (which I did not partake in, yuck!) and corn.

Tonight we are relaxing, tomorrow I have plans to meet with my aunt for lunch and dinner with the family before heading back home Sunday morning.
