Random mix of things

I usually plan out my meals for the week before I go shopping so I know exactly what I need to buy, and mostly because I am usually so indecisive this way there is no decision making involved and I just eat what is on the menu for the evening. This week however I didn't make a meal plan and just bought a roaster chicken so I am struggling to decided what I want for dinner this week.

So you can see how organized my thought process is crazy I am. Here is my thought process for deciding tonight's dinner:

1st thought: Mmm pasta sounds good
2nd thought: Oh but I did make omelets last night for breakfast, a breakfast sandwich does sound good too
3rd thought: can I eat pasta and eggs together?
4th thought: But I should eat that chicken up before it goes bad
5th thought: But that leftover meatloaf sounds better then the chicken
6th thought: (looking in the cupboard) Ohh I do have some of that pumpkin pancake mix left
7th thought: I forgot I had the butternut squash pasta mix I should eat that before it sits in there to long

Then I decided that I am ridiculous and just need to make a decision so I took the butternut pasta out (this is why I meal plan). I would be happy eating a little bit of all of these things which I did when I had to feed just me but now I have to feed John too and he isn't a grazer like me.

And then decided I should eat these before they went bad. I sauteed them in a pan with a little olive oil and salt.

And decided to add the 3 small tomatoes I had left and some chicken.

Not to random of a meal. :)

Looks delicious to me! Keith is a grazer like you and I have to have a "meal" or I feel like I failed! It's been hard now that we are mostly vegetarian...I feel like a I cook the same things every week! I love you blog! Keep it up Aunite Michele...only 6 weeks until baby!
