Happy Veteran's Day

Happy Veteran's Day to all those who are serving or have served our country! Today I spent catching up on housework and running errands. When dinner rolled around we had plans to meet Cart for dinner then head downtown to celebrate our friend Jess  new job!!
For dinner we wanted to try something new but casual so John googled best bar food in Boston. Spirits in Porter square came up which conveniently located for both of us. Walking in the bar looked like your typical sports bar.

Even they had there own way of celebrating Veteran's Day!

To start I ordered the smuttynose pumpkin ale and for dinner I decided to go with a chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and guacamole and a side of fries.

After dinner we headed downtown to meet and Jess and Trevor for a drink to celebrate her new job!
