Dundee's

At the beginning of the year John had purchased tickets to a U2 concert in Montreal for this weekend. Since I have never been to Canada we decided that instead of going up for the the concert we would make a long weekend of it. He decided that getting on the road on Thursday would be the best bet, so we packed and piled in the car for our 5.5 hour drive. Going over the border into Canada was quick and easy, but it was interesting to see the landscape change. We drove up 89 through New Hampshire and Vermont both of which were very mountainy, but as soon as we crossed the border the landscape changed to completely flat.   Once we arrived in Montreal we were starving so we walked around until we found a simple bar restaurant called Dundee's.

The menu looked good and simple which is what we were looking for. We started with bruschetta it was good the bread and tomatoes were fresh the only thing that threw me off a little was the bruschetta was marinated in Italian dressing instead of a balsamic vinaigrette or olive oil.

For the entree I wasn't very hungry so I went with a greek salad and John ordered a burger. The salad was nothing special but good. I didn't try any of John's burger but his fries were good, they were the perfect size for me skinny and not to potatoey. :)
